My cats absolutely love this hammock! Will definitely buy another as my orange cat doesn’t like to share.
Caspian loves it for scratching and napping, it saves my furniture so I love it too. He follows basic instruction lol so I showed him how to scratch it, and he does as instructed 😺Easy enough to assemble, affordable enough to replace when it starts getting too worn or frayed.He weighs about 10 lbs and it seems sturdy enough that it would be fine for a cat a bit larger.
This isn’t as nice as the extra larger scratcher I bought, which was wider and made of solid wood. This one is made of plywood, and because it is slightly narrower, it fits better on the counter where the cat likes to sleep. It’s sturdy enough for my 7 lb cat. I assembled it relatively easily (recommend that you wait to fully tighten the screws until all pieces are in place/lined up), sprayed it with some catnip spray, and my cat immediately took up residence—and she is picky about where she’ll sleep.

I really like the solid wood frame—it feels stable and well made, and it looks more like modern furniture than a typical cat accessory. My cat quickly claimed it as both a scratcher and a lounging spot, using it as a hammock for naps. Assembly was simple and didn’t take long at all. Overall, it’s a great combination of scratching, relaxing, and décor-friendly design.
My cat loves this! It is in a spot in the kitchen where she can supervise while not getting in my way. And it is not occasional usage either. Whenever I go to the kitchen, she tags along and promptly takes her proper place in the bed. It seems pretty sturdy and as far as ease of assembly, I guess it is not too bad. My son, who grew up doing Legos, put this together while having a conversation with me about something totally unrelated. I am very pleased with it and so is my cat.

A nice little scratcher/hammock that my cats really like.
This cat scratcher bed has been a total win in our house. My cat took to it almost immediately—within a few hours she was already lounging in it and scratching away instead of going after the couch.The shape is perfect for curling up, and it seems really comfortable for her to nap in. I also appreciate how sturdy it is—the cardboard doesn’t fall apart easily like some cheaper ones we’ve tried before. It’s been holding up really well even with daily use.Another big plus is that it actually helps redirect her scratching behavior. Since getting this, I’ve noticed way less damage to our furniture, which alone makes it worth it.Overall, great quality, functional, and clearly cat-approved. I’d definitely buy another one when this eventually wears out.

I bought this to keep my son’s cat from scratching the furniture and carpet while I was cat-sitting. It took about a day, but he started using it and scratching on it regularly. When my son came to pick him up, he even noticed him using it—and ended up taking it back to his apartment.
